SOGICA is actively committed to reducing its environmental impact by prioritizing carbon neutrality, optimizing recycling practices, and using responsible materials. Discover our concrete actions and objectives to achieve these commitments.

Carbon neutrality by 2050 and optimization of energy consumption

Reducing greenhouse gas emissions or offsetting this mission. This implies a massive reduction in GHG emissions, without, however, completely eliminating them. Carbon neutrality tolerates a certain level of residual emissions, which are nevertheless offset. We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. We set ambitious targets, invest in renewable energy sources, and continuously improve energy efficiency across all our operations. SOGICA conducts carbon footprint analyses to report on its impact and act accordingly. SOGICA continues its commitment to a sustainable future by adopting new initiatives to achieve these ambitious goals.

Employee engagement: Encourage and support employees to adopt energy-saving behaviors in the workplace.

Recycling rates and waste management

We are committed to responsible waste management practices. This includes implementing waste reduction strategies, increasing recycling initiatives, and exploring innovative solutions to minimize waste generation. We are committed to the principles of the ICI on recycle + program, which recognizes proactive organizations dedicated to improving their waste management performance. We recycle paper and cardboard on a large scale, and to this end, SOGICA partners with companies that specialize in document destruction while ensuring document confidentiality and supporting a circular economy. SOGICA also aims to achieve a 100% recycling rate by prioritizing waste reduction and establishing clear, measurable targets for waste reduction and diverting waste from landfills.

We recognize the importance of biodiversity conservation and responsible forest management and actively seek ways to minimize our environmental impact. SOGICA is Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain-of-Custody certified. SOGICA prioritizes the use of materials from sustainable sources or the circular economy and favors FSC-certified suppliers, allowing us to trace products from the forest to the supply chain and contribute to the responsible management of our forests. We adhere to the rigorous FSC standard for forest management. The requirements of FSC certification aim to preserve biodiversity, respect the rights of indigenous peoples, improve the living conditions of local communities and workers, and ensure the economic viability of forests.
